PFB’s factory is extended on an area of 20.000 mq, of which buildings occupy 12.000 mq. 100 people are employed in it.

The company is equipped with more than 15 fully robotized die-casting machines from 250 up to 1.300 tons and is able to die-cast pieces, whose weight goes from 100 grams to 15 kgs.

It is also equipped with 11 trimming machines, 3 sandblasting machines and 4 tumbling machines.

The production is fed by two melting furnaces and each die-casting machine has got a new generation holding furnace, which is able to melt directly different kinds of alloy, according to customer’s specifications.

PFB’s production focuses on aluminium die-cast components for electrical motors but thanks to the wide range of available machines, the company is constantly increasing the production of customized parts, belonging to different fields and applications as pumps, lighting, gearboxes, burners, telecommunications, oil & gas, pneumatics (see the gallery). Depending on items’ size and dimensions, the yearly production volume can go from 5,000 up to 200.000 pieces.

The most used aluminium alloy is alloy 226 (ENAB46.100) but also other types as alloy 230 (ENAB44300) and alloy 231 (ENAB47.100) can be used in order to fulfill customers’ requests for different kinds of application and fields.
